TASK 1 - THE WEDDING - FAILED!

Picture 1: The 'Groom', Mario
Picture 2: The 'Bride, Steph
Picture 3: The Wannabe Bride, Lisa

As expected the first task was a fail. It was a 2 part task: one ~ make sure the hms don't find out Mario and Lisa are a couple; two ~ go through with the wedding. Ok, they got through with the wedding but when asked by BB at the wedding meal table who do the hms think are the real couple in the house it was decided that Mario & Lisa were the real couple. (Could the fact they are roughly the same age have been a clue?).

Of course it didn't help matters that from day one Stephanie was totally repulsed by the idea of Mario being her boyfriend (just look at her face on being told in the picture above). And why wouldn't she be? He's (at least) 24 years older than her, and in truth, a little sleazy.
The hms quickly cottoned on to the fact they were not a couple. Their reasons included such things as, they never kissed, she never sat on his knee, she doesn't like him. I was going to say even a blind man would have realised they were not a couple, except for the fact that the only blind man in the house, Mickey, was one of the only ones who actually believed they WERE a couple.

So now we have Lisa, Luke, Mario & Stephanie facing the public vote. I think Luke will go and if not Luke then Mario. Though I fear Mario is developing a following of women who (strangely) find him attractive. Even with his penis shaped nose and bull neck. Or perhaps Steph will go. Too pretty to be liked by a lot of the public, plus she is a tad moany and we do not want that.

I reckon Lisa will definately not go this week ~ many of the public probably feel sorry for her having to have watched her bf pretending (a little too well imo) to be in love with Stephanie.

And on the subject of this silly task. I think Mario would have earned umpteen kudos had he said at the outset NO. It seems that Lisa has been desparate for him to propose for a while. And that she has never been married 'no-one's ever asked me' she told one hm. Mario was well aware of all this and for him to have agreed to go through a fake relationship (to a very pretty girl, 20 odd years younger than Lisa), a fake engagement and asking her to marry him in front of the other hms, and then a fake marriage. Not good. He would have gone up in my estimation so much had he just refused the task straight off, simply on the grounds that it might hurt the woman he is supposed to love. But then, does he actually love Lisa. Hmmm ... I have my doubts.
