Having watched the launch show and bits and pieces of BB live all day, I honestly think that BB9 could be a good year. It's long needed so hopefully I'm right. I think the mix is fairly good this year and 'though there are lots of pretty girls and not much in the way of good looking males, I think they all seem to have strong enough personalities to establish themselves fairly quickly and give us something to watch. Last year was such a major disaster that we BB fans really NEED a good year!
And if BB stick to their promise of being stricter about rule breaking then that is to the good too. That said, last night (first night) the smokers were walking all around the place but maybe BB was just letting them settle in and in fairness perhaps they were not aware of the rule of having to sit in the ashtray to smoke. BB really must stick to their guns and promises this year or they will kill the programme stone dead ~ and they came very near it last year with their carry on bending the rules to suit certain hms. The funny thing is that BB favouring certain hms tends to turn the public against that hm and so in effect BB do the 'chosen one' absolutely no favours whatsoever.
BB must also keep the action fast and happening. Please don't let the show fall into days and days of lulls with nothing happening. AND NO SLEEPING DURING THE DAY!!! Hm sat up all night? Tough. Deal wiv it as a previous hm always said.
And what about giving them some tasks that involve brain power? Slopping about in mud and such is just bloody boring to watch!
Yes, folks, this could be the best year for a while. I feel it in my water. (No, actually I don't - what a gross saying!).
